West Point

Today we went to the West Point Museum.  West Point dates back to 1778 during the Revolutionary War when both sides realized the strategic importance of the Hudson River.  George Washington considered this location the most important position for America.  Benedict Arnold was Washington's choice to command West Point.  He was a whining little baby and became upset when he didn't get he a promotion he felt he deserved.  He conspired with a British soldier to give the plans of the fort to the enemy.  Benedict Arnold fled to Britain, but the British soldier was captured before he could deliver the plans and hanged as a spy.
